7 arrests made by Dutch police

In addition to the sealing of the government buildings in The Hague, Dutch police made seven arrests on the accusing of plotting terrorists attacks.

The arrest have been made in a series of raids last night and this morning in The Hague, Almere and Amsterdam. Gun fire was reported in one of the residential area's in The Hague where Dutch police were raiding a house.

The arrested people are six men and one women, all below the age of 29. Among the arrested is Samir A. Samir A. was acquitted in April of plotting terror attacks.

There are renewed threats towards the two Dutch politicians Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Geert Wilders. Both have been threatened frequently the past year. Ayaan Hirsi Ali has been spending time abroad, escaping the highly threats made towards her.

Both politicians are assumed to have fled the country once again for their safety.

There is heightened security currently effective in the country.

Do you see a visible increase in security measures in your neighborhood? What about when you go to work? Are their soldiers at the train stations, etc?
